Two minute improvement in time is a triumph, just like you told me that finishing "not last" in a race is equally triumphant.
Perhaps next time you could wear a helment cam and publish your own training video for the masochistic "Cycling Weasel's Death Tour Humor" - Coach Troy has nothing on you.
As a side note, cycling guru/coach states that after a race, it is good to pound out a canyon(s) - sent me on a double run the very next day. While counterintuitive to me, I survived it. After a double century like Lotoja, a multi-canyon activity sounds like just the ticket!
